Would you like to learn more about the Celle stallion parades?
The state stud farm was founded with a decree of Georg II, King of England and Elector of Hanover on July 27th, 1735.
The three-hour event begins punctually with the toll of the bell in the tower clock over the Grabensee stables at 13.00 o’clock.
All of the 200 stallions are presented through 20 alternating programme events, lead by hand, ridden or drawing historic carriages. Some special highlights are the great dressage quadrille, the Hungarian post coach, the Roman chariots and the carriage drawn by thirteen horses.
The wonderfully bread stallions, sparkling harnesses and historical uniforms in a setting of old buildings and majestic trees will certainly remain with you as an unforgettable memory.
